PlayStation Plus games for July revealed
PlayStation Plus subscribers are getting three PlayStation 4 games for free next month to celebrate 10 years of PlayStation Plus, Sony has announced.
Starting July 7th, subscribers can download and play NBA 2K20, the 20 Year Celebration Edition of Rise of the Tomb Raider, and feature-length cinematic experience Erica. As noted by Sony, Erica requires a mobile companion app and a device that can run iOS 9.0+ or Android 4.1+.
As well as the above three games, Sony will also be giving away a free PlayStation 4 celebration theme and hosting a free online multiplayer weekend from July 4th through July 5th.
“Wow, it’s been 10 years since PlayStation Plus was first introduced to the world on June 29, 2010, and we truly want to thank all of you for supporting PS Plus over the past decade,” Nick Maguire, general manager of global store services, wrote on the PlayStation Blog. “It’s been a memorable journey over the years, bringing gamers together and providing access to compelling content and exclusive discounts for our members.”
There’s also still time to pick up June’s PlayStation Plus titles, which include Call of Duty: WWII and Star Wars Battlefront II.
