PlayStation Now adding support for 1080p streaming
Sony has announced that it is rolling out support for 1080p streaming to its PlayStation Now subscription service starting this week.
Currently, the service only supports a maximum of 720p when streaming games, with higher resolutions requiring the game to be downloaded. Sony does note that this is only for “1080p capable games.”
According to a tweet, “the rollout will occur over the next several weeks across Europe, US, Canada, and Japan, where PlayStation Now is available.”
Earlier this month, Sony added Marvel’s Avengers, Borderlands 3, and The Long Dark to the list of games available through the service.
PlayStation Now is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC for $9.99 a month
