PlayStation 5 Showcase announced for this week
A PlayStation 5 Showcase is happening later this week, Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced.
The digital event is due to take place on Wednesday, September 16th at 1 p.m. PT and will last around 40 minutes, according to a post on the PlayStation Blog. Viewers can expect “feature updates on the latest titles from Worldwide Studios and our world-class development partners” for “some of the great games coming to PS5 at launch (and beyond!).”
It’s worth noting that nowhere in the announcement does it mention revealing a price or release date for either version of the PlayStation 5.
Watch the entire PlayStation 5 Showcase live over on Twitch and YouTube from 1 p.m. PT.
The last major PlayStation 5-focused event occurred in June with the Future of Gaming showcase. During this event, Sony unveiled the console itself, a remake of Demon’s Souls, Gran Turismo 7, Resident Evil Village, Hitman 3, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and Horizon Forbidden West.
