PlayStation 4 system software update 7.51 now available
Sony has pushed a new system software update live for PlayStation 4 that takes the console up to version 7.51.
Similar to last month’s 7.50 update, players can expect improved system performance after installing the update, according to the single patch note. The update will begin downloading automatically the next time the console is turned on and connected to the internet.
The last major update for Sony’s console arrived in October and featured 16-player parties, audio quality improvements, and a new chat transcription feature.
In other news, Sony and Naughty Dog recently unveiled a limited-edition PlayStation 4 Pro console bundle for The Last of Us Part II. The bundle includes a customized PlayStation 4 Pro console, a limited-edition controller, a copy of the game, and various digital bonuses.
