Outriders update rebalances enemy snipers, adds UI scale option for console
People Can Fly has just released a big update for Outriders that makes a couple of balance adjustments and addresses a number of issues.
“While there will be some major fixes that we’re sure will be appreciated by players, this patch includes the fixes & resolutions for many smaller and minor bugs that were reported or discovered during the demo and launch period of Outriders, but were unable to be amalgamated into the hotfixes we worked on during the same period,” the developer wrote.
To start with, the over leveling system has been adjusted to make players feel more powerful against lower level enemies. After the update, the system now activates when the player is three levels higher than enemies instead of two, outgoing damage is reduced less, and how incoming damage scales has been altered.
The developer has also rebalanced enemy snipers to give players more time to dodge, added a UI scale option for consoles, improved camera movement in cutscenes, and lowered the cost of upgrading weapons from rare to epic. Read the lengthy list of patch notes here.
Outriders is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia.
