Outriders update introduces region-based matchmaking
A new update has been released for Outriders by developer People Can Fly that implements a couple of changes.
This small update introduces region-based matchmaking to the game, which should help improve the quality of connections when playing multiplayer. There’s also a new block in place that prevents players from kicking people from the group toward the end of an expedition. Read the full patch notes below:
- Implemented a block that prevents players from kicking other players towards the end of an Expeditions session.
- Implemented Region Based Matchmaking to improve the quality of multiplayer connections.
- Updated the login signing in text to better reflect the current signing in process step.
- Fixed crash and memory leak issues.
The developer also revealed that it is currently testing changes to legendary drop rates to make them less frustrating and working on some player buffs. More information about these changes will be shared at a later date.
Outriders is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia.
