Outriders post-campaign Expeditions detailed

During the latest Outriders broadcast, People Can Fly went over Expeditions, post-campaign content that will challenge players.

After completing the campaign, players will find themselves in a new camp with a map that points to a number of new locations. These locations are home to Expeditions that “will challenge even the most accomplished Outrider and push them to their limits,” according to publisher Square Enix.

Unlike the campaign, enemies in Expeditions do not drop loot. Instead, loot is rewarded at the end of the mission. Players can increase the level of loot dropped by increasing the challenge tier, which also unlocks additional Expeditions. Unlocking 15 Expeditions grants access to the final mission called “The Eye of the Storm.” Learn more about this tough end-game content in the video below:

“Expeditions expand on the story of the Outriders campaign and features the toughest challenges in the game. They’re meant to be played with a team of skilled and coordinated Outriders,” Bartek Kmita, creative director of Outriders at People Can Fly, said. “Powerful equipment and efficient character builds, along with true skill and mastery over your class, are necessary to succeed and reach the highest levels of Expeditions.”

Outriders is scheduled to launch on February 2nd, 2021, for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. The game is also coming to Google Stadia later in 2021.
