Outriders legendary drop rates being increased by 100%
People Can Fly has outlined a number of changes that it will be making to legendary drops in Outriders as part of the game’s next update.
The first, and probably biggest change being made is an increase to the legendary drop rate by 100 percent across the board. In addition to this, the developer is removing level brackets from legendary drops, so all legendary items can now drop at any level.
There’s also a new legendary anti-duplication system being introduced. Under this system, if a legendary is rolled as a drop that a player already has in their inventory or stash, then the item will be re-rolled once. Now this will not completely stop duplicate items from dropping, but it will help reduce the occurrence.
Finally, People Can Fly is improving the game’s Luck system to prevent players from going ages without a legendary drop when playing at the endgame. The developer still recommends that players farm at as higher a level as possible to increase the odds of legendary items dropping though.
All of the above changes are scheduled to go live as part of the game’s next update, which is currently aiming for a release early next week.
Outriders is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia.
