One to Play – Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III

Picking up where last year’s game left off, Modern Warfare III‘s story-driven campaign has Task Force 141 charged with stopping ultranationalist terrorist Vladimir Makarov. While much of the campaign will be a more focused experience, Modern Warfare III also features what are known as “Open Combat Missions,” in which you have options as to how you want to approach your targets—such as choosing between being sneaky or going in with weapons blazing. Similarly, the Zombies co-op mode has the biggest map this mode has ever seen, while multiplayer has updated and upgraded versions of the 16 maps from 2009’s Modern Warfare 2, an evolved version of the “War” mode that was introduced in WWII, as well as the return of red dot minimaps. It also, alongside such fan favorite modes as “Kill Confirmed” and “Team Deathmatch,” adds a new one called “Cutthroat,” in which three teams of three each go head-to-head-to-head.
