Next-gen upgrades announced for Doom Eternal and The Elder Scrolls Online
Players who own either Doom Eternal or The Elder Scrolls Online on current-gen consoles will be able to upgrade to the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 versions for free, Bethesda has announced.
“Additionally, our teams are working hard to ensure both titles will support backwards compatibility when the new consoles launch,” Bethesda added in a post on its official site.
More information regarding release windows and enhancements for Doom Eternal and The Elder Scrolls Online on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 will be shared “in the coming weeks and months.”
Bethesda also revealed that it will be offering free upgrades for all owners of current-gen console games that it decides to bring forward to next-generation consoles.
