Modern Warfare adding Ground War variant with no tanks, new Gunfight map this week
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare players are getting a version of Ground War without tanks and a new Gunfight map this week, Activision and Infinity Ward have announced.
To start with, Gunfight players will be able to do battle on a new map called Bazaar. This new map is set in Urzkistan and is a “multi-level three lane battlefield.”
Also arriving this week is a new variant of Ground War Realism called Boots on the Ground War. This new version of the large-scale Ground War mode removes tanks, limiting players to small vehicles and their feet.
Finally, a double XP weekend is set to begin on February 28th at 10 a.m. PT and will run until March 2nd at 10 a.m. PT.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
