Marvel’s Avengers joins Xbox Game Pass this week
Microsoft and Crystal Dynamics have announced that Marvel’s Avengers will be joining Xbox Game Pass for Console, PC, and Cloud on September 30th.
Xbox Game Pass subscribers will have full access to the game, including the Reassemble campaign, post-launch heroes, and recently released War for Wakanda expansion. The expansion introduces Black Panther as a playable hero, new areas to explore, and new story content in which King T’Challa faces off against Ulysses Klaue.
“Marvel’s Avengers is an evolving game with ongoing updates that add new playable Heroes, missions, villains, campaigns, and events – and Xbox Game Pass members will get to experience all of it,” developer Crystal Dynamics added in an Xbox Wire post. “If you’re gaming on Xbox Series X|S, you’ll get to play the optimized version of Marvel’s Avengers to take advantage of faster load times and higher frame rates resulting in a smoother gameplay experience.”
A quadruple XP event will be running from September 30th through October 4th, so players will be able to jump in and level their heroes quickly when the game hits Xbox Game Pass.
Marvel’s Avengers is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia.
