Horizon Forbidden West trailer reveals Big Snek

Sony and Guerrilla Games have released a new Horizon Forbidden West trailer highlighting some of the machines Aloy will encounter in the sequel—and Indiana Jones is going to be pissed.

Yes, the most striking addition to the lineup is the Slitherfang, a massive mechanical serpent that can spit acid. In other words, Big Snek.

But our supersized cobra friend isn’t alone. We also meet the Rollerback, an armored machine that rolls up into a ball—based on the pangolin, it would seem. And there’s also more footage of some machines we already knew about, like the Sunwing, a massive pterodactyly, birdy thing; the Tremortusk, a mammoth-inspired machine; and the baboon-like Clamberjaw.

The trailer also features plenty of unseen footage of the game’s environments, which are looking fantastic on PlayStation 5. (But as we just learned this week, the game will still look pretty great running on PlayStation 4, too, so don’t fret if you haven’t been able to secure a new console.)
