Ghost Recon Breakpoint Friend Pass and free trial announced
Ubisoft has announced a free trial and a Friend Pass for Ghost Recon Breakpoint.
From now until June 16th, all Ghost Recon Breakpoint players can invite up to three friends at a time who do not own the game to join them using the Friend Pass. There’s no limit to how many times the Friend Pass can be used, but only three players can be invited at a time.
Invited players will need to be on the same platform and have the newly announced trial version of the game installed to join, according to Ubisoft. Players also require an Xbox Live Gold or PlayStation Plus account to play co-op on Xbox One or PlayStation 4, respectively.
As mentioned above, a trial version of Breakpoint is also now available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC that grants access to the full game for a total of six hours. Players who have spent more than six hours in the game during a previous free weekend will be unable to play without being invited via the Friend Pass feature. It was also mentioned that the six-hour timer will pause when the Friend Pass is being used to play co-op. All progress made during the trial can be carried over to the full game.
Last week, Ubisoft released title update 2.0.0 for Breakpoint, which introduced Immersive Mode, new story content featuring Splinter Cell’s Sam Fisher, two new classes, and more.
Ghost Recon Breakpoint is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
