Genshin Impact’s 3.4 update detailed
HoYoverse has announced that the next major update for Genshin Impact, The Exquisite Night Chimes, will launch on January 18th.
As part of this update, players have the chance to explore the Desert of Hadramaveth, a new area located northwest of the Sumeru region. This area is home to a new World Quest in which players will go on an adventure with Jeht from the Tanit Camps to find the lost Orchard of Pairidaeza.
Also introduced in this update are two new characters. First is the 5-star sword wielder Alhaitham who can create “Chisel-Light Mirrors” to convert his attacks into Dendro Damage and increase the damage dealt by his Elemental Burst. Joining him is the four-star character Yaoyao who wields a polearm and uses the “Yuegui” device to deal more damage or heal her teammates.
In addition to the above, update 3.4 brings back the Lantern Rite festival. Complete events and challenges during the festival to earn 13 Intertwined Fates, a four-star Liyue character, and Lisa’s new outfit.
Genshin Impact is available now on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC, and mobile.
