Genshin Impact trailer shows new five-star character Alhaitham in action
Following a character teaser last week, HoYoverse has released a new trailer for Genshin Impact‘s latest five-star character, Alhaitham.
Alhaitham is the current scribe of the Sumeru Akademiya and a five-star sword-wielding Dendro user. He can convert his “attacks into Dendro damage, unleash coordinated attacks, and enhance the damage dealt by his Elemental Burst” using Chisel Light Mirrors.
“Sometimes, people find it next to impossible to catch the current scribe in his office. Little do they know about the scribe, other than his name, Alhaitham, and that he is supposed to be present during work hours,” the developer adds. “The fact is, no one knows his whereabouts, and all they can do is leave documents and files on his desk.”
Alhaitham will be available with the release of update 3.4 alongside Yaoyao, Yun Jin, and Xinyan on the banner.
Genshin Impact‘s 3.4 update launches on January 18th and includes the Desert of Hadramaveth area, two new characters, and the return of the Lantern Rite festival.
