Genshin Impact is coming to PlayStation 5
Sony Interactive Entertainment and miHoYo have announced that Genshin Impact will finally be coming to PlayStation 5 later this spring.
The PlayStation 5 version of the game will run at 4K with enhanced textures across the entire game and faster loading times. According to a tweet from Sony, there will also be support for the DualSense controller, but exactly how it will be used was not mentioned.
“The PlayStation5 is an ideal platform to enhance the vast open world featuring in Genshin Impact, allowing the team to incorporate more thoughts and ideas into the game, both now and in the future,” Forrest Liu, President of miHoYo, said in a press release. “That’s why we’ve been working to bring the native PlayStation 5 version of the game to our players as soon as we could.”
In other news, miHoYo recently shared a new trailer for the game that introduces the game’s newest character Rosaria. The four-star character is due to arrive in the game next week as part of the Childe re-run banner.
Genshin Impact is available now on PlayStation 4, PC, and mobile.
