Fortnite special announcement teased for The Game Awards
Epic Games has revealed that it has a “special announcement” for Fortnite during The Game Awards later this week.
Last year, the developer unveiled Fortnite’s The Block point of interest during The Game Awards. The location was used to show off various community creations, but it didn’t make the move to the Chapter 2 map.
Fortnite is up for four awards at The Game Awards this year including Community Support, Esports Event, Esports Game of the Year, and Ongoing Game. The event takes place on December 12th from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
In other news, Epic recently announced that it will be showing exclusive footage from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker at Fortnite’s Risky Reels on December 14th.
Fortnite is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC, iOS, and Android.
