Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 has been delayed again
Epic Games has announced another delay for Fortnite Chapter 2’s third season.
The upcoming season is now scheduled to get underway on June 17th, with The Device live event scheduled for June 15th. This is the third time that Season 3 has been delayed, with the first pushing it back from April 30th to June 4th and the second moving the start date to June 11th.
“Recent events are a heavy reminder of ongoing injustices in society, from the denial of basic human rights to the impact of racism both overt and subtle against people of color. We’re acutely aware of the pain our friends, families, team members, players, and communities are experiencing,” Epic said in a statement on its official site.
“We believe in equality and justice, diversity and inclusion, and that these fundamentals are above politics. The team is eager to move Fortnite forward, but we need to balance the Season 3 launch with time for the team to focus on themselves, their families, and their communities.”
Fortnite is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC, iOS, and Android.
