Fallout 76 is free to play this week on Xbox One, PS4, and PC
Bethesda is celebrating the day the bombs fell in Fallout by making Fallout 76 free to play for the next week on all platforms.
Until October 26th, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC owners can download and play the game for free. Players will have access to the entire base game, the content introduced in the Wastelanders update, and the Nuclear Winter mode during the trial. All progress made can be carried over to the full game.
In addition to the free week, players will be able to try out the game’s Fallout 1st membership via a free preview. Simply visit the Atomic Shop and purchase the Fallout 1st Limited Preview item to begin the trial. The preview grants access to the Scrapbox, which gives unlimited storage for crafting components, and the Survival Tent, which acts as a placeable fast travel point. Players also get the Mechanic’s Wallpaper and Mechanic’s Floor and Foundation. The Fallout 1st Limited Preview ends on October 26th.
Finally, Bethesda is running events for Double S.C.O.R.E., double XP, and 25 percent off legendary weapons and armor from Purveyor Murmrgh from October 22nd through October 26th.
