F1 2020 debut gameplay shows off Circuit Zandvoort
F1 2020’s debut gameplay trailer offers a look at Circuit Zandvoort, which returns to the Formula One calendar for the first time since 1985.
The circuit is located in North Holland and has been upgraded for its return with a new paddock, additional run-off areas, and track enhancements. Watch a virtual hot lap of Circuit Zandvoort featuring Max Verstappen’s Red Bull Racing car below:
“The team has done an incredible job in recreating every aspect of the circuit. The banked final corner heading into the long straight is something players are going to enjoy,” Lee Mather, F1 Franchise Game Director at Codemasters, said. “Circuit Zandvoort is highly technical with height variation, blind crests, and unsighted braking points and corner apexes. It’s an onslaught on the senses and doesn’t give players a moment to rest.”
As previously announced, the upcoming entry features a new “My Team” mode that allows players to create and manage their own team.
F1 2020 launches July 10th, 2020, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia.
