DICE reveals when it’s revealing Battlefield 2042’s Hazard Zone

DICE has released new teaser trailer, revealing when it’s revealing Battlefield 2042‘s third and final mode, Hazard Zone.

The Hazard Zone trailer will debut on October 14th at 8 a.m. PT. A teaser video features a lot of screaming, heavy breathing, and glitched-out visuals. Text that reads “enter the Hazard Zone” and “every squad for themselves” flashes across the screen.

As far as we can tell, the Hazard Zone trailer will most likely take place on the Hourglass map set in Doha, Qatar. Images of the map—which we previously saw in the initial gameplay trailer—seem to fade in and out. Likewise, the ending of the “Exodus” short film points to Doha as the destination for Irish and the rest of the No-Pats. However, it could also be Manifest, which is set in a shipping yard, according to YouTuber Ghost Gaming.

Hopefully the Hazard Zone trailer will also show more of 2042‘s Specialists in action. The recent open beta let players try out the previously revealed Mackay, Falck, Boris, and Casper characters, but there are still five Specialists who we have yet to see in action. The cover image for the trailer potentially features Sundance, the Specialist that appears to have access to a wingsuit.

Battlefield 2042 launches November 19th for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
