Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed gets release date, multiplayer spin-off out now
THQ Nordic and Black Forest Games have announced a relese date for Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed, but that’s not all. There’s also a multiplayer spin-off that you can play right now.
Reprobed, a ground-up remaster of the 2006 extraterrestrial action game, will arrive on August 30th, as revealed in a new gameplay trailer. Alongside the date, the trailer includes about a minute of new gameplay footage, showing alien antihero Crypto on his globe-trotting quest to save/conquer the planet. You can really see the visual overhaul here; like Black Forest’s remaster of the first game, Reprobed is entirely rebuilt in Unreal Engine 4.
But as we said above, you don’t have to wait until the end of summer to get in on some new Destroy All Humans! action. Hitting today with a surprise release is a Destroy All Humans! – Clone Carnage, a standalone multiplayer game based on the first remaster. The game supports two-player splitscreen and up to four players online across six different maps and four different modes: Rampage, Armageddon, Race, and Abduction.
Clone Carnage costs around $13 on consoles, but it’s free if you pre-order Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed, which is a nice little bonus.
Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Windows PC—skipping the previous generation of consoles. Clone Carnage, on the other hand, is only available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC, though you can play it on newer consoles via backward compatibility.
