Call of Duty: Warzone reaches 50 million players
More than 50 million players have dropped into Call of Duty: Warzone, Activision has announced.
This figure has been reached exactly one month after Warzone officially released on March 10th. To compare, Fortnite hit 20 million players just over one month after launch, while Apex Legends also reached the 50 million players milestone after one month.
Earlier this week, developer Infinity Ward kicked off Season 3 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone. This latest content drop introduced Quads for Warzone, three new multiplayer maps, new blueprints, two new weapons, and more.
In other news, Trios returned to Warzone today after being removed with the introduction of Quads.
Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
