Call of Duty: Warzone reaches 30 million players
Activision recently revealed that its battle royale game Call of Duty: Warzone has now surpassed 30 million players.
This news comes after the game hit 6 million players within its first 24 hours and then 15 million after three days. To compare, it took Fortnite two weeks to break 10 million players, while Respawn Entertainment’s battle royale game Apex Legends reached 25 million players after one week.
Warzone launched earlier this month and includes a traditional battle royale mode and Plunder, a mode in which squads battle to collect the most cash by taking out enemies, looting, and completing contracts.
In other news, a Solos options was added to Warzone last week, allowing players to drop in and take on 149 other players with no squads.
Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Warzone is also included in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
