Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 2 includes new maps, weapons, more
Following a couple of leaks, Activision and Infinity Ward have officially unveiled Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s second season.
On launch day, which is February 11th, players will be getting Rust and Atlas Superstore as new multiplayer maps, the Zhokov Boneyard for Ground War, and a new Gunfight map called Bazaar. Gunfight Tournaments will also return on launch day alongside a Call of Duty League Ruleset playlist. All of this content will be free for all players.
That’s not all though, as more free content will be released throughout Season 2, including a new map called Khandor Hideout, Talon and Mace as new Operators, a new weapon, Infected Ground War, and more. Take a look at everything that is coming as part of Season 2 in the roadmap below:
A new season also means a new Battle Pass for players to work through. The free tiers of the pass will allow players to unlock the Grau 5.56 assault rifle and the Striker 45 SMG, as well as 300 Call of Duty Points, calling cards, weapon charms, and more.
In addition to the above free content, players who choose to purchase the pass can unlock more than 100 new items, including Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’s Ghost as a new Operator, weapon blueprints, XP tokens, Operator skins, watches, and up to 1,300 CoD Points.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
