Call of Duty: Modern Warfare beta adding Ground War and new map
Infinity Ward has revealed that a new mode and map will be added to the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare beta for its second weekend.
An in-game message and a Reddit post by the developer confirmed that the 64-player Ground War mode will be introduced on September 21st alongside the Karst River Quarry map.
Weekend two of the beta gets underway on September 19th for Xbox One and PC players with early access and all PlayStation 4 owners. Then on September 20th, all Xbox One and PC players will be able to join the beta until it ends on September 23rd.
In addition to revealing some new content, Infinity Ward shared a few issues that it is aware of from the recently concluded beta test, such as weapon attachments not unlocking, inconsistent spawning, and weapons clipping through player models. More information can be found over on Reddit.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare launches October 25th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
