Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War adding CARV.2 and Yamantau + Diesel 24/7 this week
Activision has announced that the third new weapon of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season 3, the CARV.2 tactical rifle, will arrive in the game this week.
This new burst-fire weapon features “high bullet velocity output, offering powerful damage, solid recoil control, and a large ammo pool from the start,” according to the publisher. Players can unlock the CARV.2 in both Black Ops Cold War and Warzone by completing an in-game challenge or by purchasing the “Plastik Prototype” bundle from the store.
Also on the way this week is the Yamantau + Diesel 24/7 playlist, which combines Season 3’s new 6v6 maps in Team Deathmatch, Domination, Kill Confirmed, and Hardpoint. In addition to this new playlist, Gunfight Blueprints will return to the Featured Playlists.
As for in-game store additions, players will be able to pick up the “Alien Infestation Mastercraft” bundle, which includes the Ultra “Incubator” Tactical Rifle and the Legendary “Sterilizer” SMG as well as other cosmetics, and the “Gilded Age IV” bundle, which features the “Counter Offer” Assault Rifle and “Subtle Threat” SMG. Finally, there’s the “Angels & Demons Anime Reactive” bundle, which contains the Ultra “Cursed Angel” Assault Rifle Blueprint and the Legendary “Divine Blossom” Sniper Rifle Blueprint.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
