Axiom Verge 2 delayed to later in 2021

Developer Thomas Happ has delayed his highly anticipated sequel Axiom Verge 2 one more time into Q3 2021.

Happ stated on the sequel’s official blog that the “game will be better for the additional time, and I won’t have to burn myself out crunching to hit a date that I set for myself.”

To soften the blow, Happ is making 2 Player Productions’ making-of documentary about the original Axiom Verge free to watch on Steam. It’s also available to watch on IGN.

This is the second (and hopefully last) time that Axiom Verge 2 has gotten a delay. It was previously delayed from fall 2020 to early 2021.

Axiom Verge 2 was announced back in 2019 and will launch on Nintendo Switch and PC via the Epic Games Store.
