Ark: Survival Evolved is free to play on PC this weekend
Open-world dinosaur survival game Ark: Survival Evolved is free to play for a limited time on PC via Steam, Studio Wildcard has announced.
From now through November 10th at 10 a.m. PT, PC owners can head over to Steam and click the “Play Game” button to begin installing. In addition to the free weekend, the developer has discounted the game and its DLC until November 10th. Take a look at the full list of available discounts below:

- Ark: Survival Evolved Explorer’s Edition – 75% off
- Original DLC and Season Pass – 65% off
- Genesis Season Pass – 20% off
In other news, Studio Wildcard recently announced that an Xbox Series X/S upgrade for Ark: Survival Evolved will arrive next week. The update bumps the resolution up to 4K, improves draw distance, increases the max texture resolution, and more.
Ark: Survival Evolved is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
