A Plague Tale: Requiem story trailer shows what’s in store for Hugo and Amicia

Asobo Studio and Focus Entertainment have released a new story trailer for A Plague Tale: Requiem.

Though we already knew some of the basics—the game picks up six months after the events of A Plague Tale: Innocence, and sees siblings Amicia and Hugo heading to a mysterious island in search of a cure for Hugo’s curse—this is our best look yet at the people and sights the duo will encounter along their journey.

Though the focus is on the narrative—and there’s a lot of dialogue edited over the trailer that sheds light on that side of the game—there are also a few glimpses of combat, and exactly as much rat footage as you’d expect. Check out the trailer for yourself below.

A Plague Tale: Requiem launches October 18th on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch (via the could), and Windows PC.
