Overwatch Anniversary event returns tomorrow, new skins revealed
Blizzard has announced that Overwatch’s Anniversary event will return to the game tomorrow, May 19th.
During the event, players will be able to play a number of seasonal brawls in the Arcade and pick up new and returning skins, highlight intros, emotes, and sprays via Anniversary Loot Boxes. The developer has so far unveiled four new legendary skins that will be up for grabs during the event, including Dragoon Mercy, Huitzilopochtli Zenyatta, Masquerade Reaper, and Little Red Ashe.
The Anniversary Event is scheduled to run from May 19th through June 9th.
In other Overwatch-related news, a sequel to the game is currently in development. Overwatch 2 features PvE Story Missions and Hero Missions, a new game mode called Push, new characters, an engine upgrade, and more.
