Upcoming Modern Warfare update will balance weapons, claymores, and more
Infinity Ward’s senior communications manager Ashton Williams has revealed that a new update will be released for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare in “the next few days.”
According to Williams, the update will include stability improvements, weapon tuning, adjustments to footstep volume, claymore changes, and more.
Williams went on to confirm that the update will include bug fixes for Spec Ops, make further adjustments to player callouts, and make balance changes to the 725 shotgun. The 725 has become the bane of most Modern Warfare players’ lives due to its crazy range and damage. Presumably, the M4, which is another weapon deemed overpowered by the community, will also be adjusted.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
