Control’s Photo Mode launches tomorrow
The previously announced Photo Mode for Control will arrive as part of update 1.04 tomorrow, October 16th, developer Remedy Entertainment has confirmed.
Photo Mode can be accessed via the Options menu and will give players free control of the game’s camera. Players can also choose from 10 different filters and hide Jesse and other NPCs using the mode.
The developer also shared a few extra details about the game’s upcoming Expeditions mode, which will be added to the game for free at the end of this year. In this mode, players will have to complete objectives in a set amount of time to earn powerful rewards.
“But be on your guard – every Expedition that Jesse undertakes will come with different modifiers that make the encounter extra tricky,” community manager Vida Starcevic warned in a PlayStation Blog post.
As previously announced, Remedy plans to release two paid expansions for Control. The first of these, Foundation, sees Jesse exploring underneath the Bureau to learn more about the History of the Oldest House. While the second, titled AEW, tasks Jesse with visiting the Investigations Sector, a new part of the Oldest House that looks at Altered World Events.
