Death Stranding has officially gone gold
Kojima Productions announced on Twitter that Death Stranding has officially reached gold status.
A game reaching gold status means that development is complete and the code is ready to be sent to manufacturing to be mass-produced.
The upcoming game puts players in control of Sam Bridges, who is on a mission to reconnect a shattered America following a phenomenon known as the Death Stranding.
Earlier this month, Kojima Productions shared 50 minutes of Death Stranding gameplay that shed a little more light on exactly what players will be doing. In the footage, which can be seen here, we see Sam delivering supplies, exploring the world, and fighting enemies.
Death Stranding launches November 8th for PlayStation 4.
