Theatrhythm returns with the announcement of Theatrhythm Final Bar Line
Square Enix has unveiled Theatrhythm Final Bar Line, the next entry in the Final Fantasy-based rhythm action series.
The game celebrates 35 years of music from the Final Fantasy series and allows players to create a party from 104 characters and then partake in RPG battles that play out via rhythm-based action. Push buttons in time to the music to traverse environments and battle enemies.
There are four difficulty levels to choose from and there’s also support for online Multi Battles.
In total, players can expect 385 songs in the base game from the original Final Fantasy through Final Fantasy XV, including remakes and spin-offs. Additionally, 27 bonus songs are included in the Digital Deluxe and Premium Digital Deluxe Editions of the game, which also contain season passes.
These season passes will introduce tracks from a variety of Square Enix titles, such as the NieR series, SaGa series, Mana series, and many more. Each Season Pass features five song packs for a total of 30 songs in each.
Theatrhythm Final Bar Line is scheduled to release for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on February 16th, 2023.
