Atomic Heart gameplay trailer is over three minutes of robotic terror
The latest trailer for the highly anticipated Atomic Heart has arrived, giving us over three minutes of gameplay where Major P-3 takes on the robotic rebels of Soviet Facility No. 3826.
To say that Atomic Heart is taking some inspiration from the BioShock series would be an understatement, but that’s not a complaint. The detailed environments and impressive visual effects on current-gen hardware put that kind of immersive sim action over the top in Atomic Heart.
The focus of Atomic Heart‘s gameplay is the combination of guns and special abilities, and the game appears to offer a ton of different ways for players to make sure that the classified information about the facility’s “systems failure” doesn’t get out. The enemies themselves look fantastic, too, especially some of the hulking, robotic bosses that can leap around the arena.
Unfortunately, one thing the trailer didn’t offer was a solid release date, although it appears that Mundfish still plans to release it by the end of the year. When it does launch, it’s coming to Xbox and PC Game Pass day one.
Atomic Heart is in development for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
