Crytek has announced the release date of its Crysis Remastered Trilogy, and we don’t have long to wait.
Crysis Remastered Trilogy is launching on October 15th for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC via the Epic Games Store, according to the series’ official Twitter account. Like the first Remastered game, Crysis Remastered 2 and Crysis Remastered 3 will both be available for individual purchase.
Crytek also detailed some of the upgrades we can expect from the Series X and PS5 versions of the trilogy. Players on those consoles can expect HD textures, improved lighting, and dynamic resolution that scales between 1080p and 4K to maintain a smooth 60 frames per second, among other visual upgrades.
Unfortunately, Crytek confirmed that the Remastered Trilogy will only include the single-player campaigns from all three games and not the multiplayer portions of Crysis 2 or 3.
A reveal trailer for the entire Remastered Trilogy arrived back in June. The first Crysis Remastered, which launched in September 2020, received mixed reviews.
