Outriders’ first patch coming next week, Appreciation Package announced
People Can Fly has confirmed that the first update for Outriders is scheduled to go live at some point next week.
This update will include overall stability improvements for matchmaking and fixes for a number of bugs, including the HUD disappearing, players getting stuck, and various crashes. The default matchmaking option will also be changed to “Closed” to help cut down AFK lobbies and improve matchmaking times. Take a look at the full patch notes here.
In addition to this update, balance changes have now been pushed to the game through a backend update. These changes include loot adjustments for specific enemies, changes to Expedition completion times, and the removal of legendary items for subsequent completions of Historian, bounty hunt, and monster hunt quests.
Additionally, the cooldown of Twisted Rounds has been increased, a few Trickster Hero Tree nodes have had their power reduced, and the Technomancer’s “Damage Against Poison” power has been reduced. A full list of balance changes can be seen here.
The developer also revealed that it will be delivering a Community Appreciation Package to all players who have played the game between March 31st and April 11th as an apology for the connection issues the game suffered at launch. This package includes a level-appropriate weapon and amount of Titanium, as well as the Frustration emote. An exact date for delivery has not been decided.
Outriders is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
