Square Enix has confirmed that Final Fantasy XIV’s annual anniversary event The Rising will be returning to the game on August 27th.
“The Rising festival is known for bringing a splash of color to Ul’dah, and this year’s celebration is especially vibrant,” the event’s description reads. “J’bhen Tia’s exhibition of stained glass evokes memories of a pivotal moment in history, but he will need the assistance of a willing volunteer to ensure the event proceeds without a hitch.”
The Rising will run until September 14th and players can begin the event by visiting J’bhen Tia in Ul’dah, Steps of Nald. During the event, players can earn the Wild-up Ardbert Minion and The Sultana’s Seven painting.
Earlier this month, Square Enix released update 5.3 for the game. This update included new story quests, a new dungeon, the second part of the NieR Alliance Raid, an overhaul of the A Realm Reborn questline, and much more.
Final Fantasy XIV is available now on PlayStation 4 and PC.
