Fortnite is adding cars tomorrow
Following a brief delay last month, Epic Games has confirmed that cars will finally be added to Fortnite tomorrow, August 5th.
The Joy Ride update will introduce a number of drivable vehicles to the Fortnite map. As for what vehicles players can expect, two teaser images on the official Fortnite Twitter account have revealed the sporty Whiplash and the Mudflap truck.
Cars have been present in Fortnite since the very beginning, but this will be the first time that players have been allowed to get behind the wheel of them. How much they will affect the game’s meta is yet to be seen.
In other Fortnite-related news, Epic recently added the Arsenal limited-time mode as part of the Summer Splash event. In this mode, players start off with strong weapons that will lower in rarity with each elimination.
Fortnite is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC, iOS, and Android.
