Ys IX: Monstrum Nox demo arrives on PlayStation 4
A demo for Ys IX: Monstrum Nox is now available to download from the PlayStation Store.
According to the description, the demo lets players choose between two key locations to explore and try out the new Gifts and Monstrums. The demo is also playable on PlayStation 5 via backward compatibility.
This upcoming entry in the series follows the story of Adol Christin, a renowned adventurer who is detained by the Romun Empire while trying the enter the city of Balduq. While in prison, Adol is transformed into a Monstrum, a being with supernatural gifts and the power to exorcise demons, and must now ally with his fellow Monstrum to fight the enemies emerging from the Grimwald Nox.
Ys IX: Monstrum Nox launches for PlayStation 4 on February 2nd in the U.S. and February 5th in Europe. Nintendo Switch and PC versions are also on the way in summer 2021.
