Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair free demo on the way
Playtonic has announced that a free demo for its platformer Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair is coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
According to a tweet sent out by the developer, the demo will be available on PC from January 23rd, with a PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch release to follow on January 30th. An Xbox One version of the demo is also in the works, but a release date has not been confirmed.
As for what the demo will include. Players will be able to try out a selection of 2D levels, take on the terrain-transforming Pagie Challenge, test a few Tonics, and take on the Impossible Lair. Playtonic added that there is no time limit on the demo and progress can be carried over to the full game.
Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
