Xbox’s Project Moorcroft brings curated demos to Xbox Game Pass subscribers
Microsoft has announced that it will be improving Xbox Game Pass in the future with Project Moorcraft.
Revealed over on Xbox Wire, Project Moorcraft is “a program that brings the fun and discovery of playing new, curated demos of upcoming games” to Xbox Game Pass subscribers. The program is due to begin rolling out “later this year” and will “focus on providing independent developers from around the world more opportunities to build excitement for their games,” according to Microsoft.
Microsoft will be compensating developers who take part in the program and also allowing developers to see how their demos perform.
Additionally, the platform holder announced a plan to allow Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers to play any game they own outside of Xbox Game Pass through the cloud.
Game Pass is available now on Xbox and PC for $9.99 a month.
