Xbox September update is rolling out now
The September update for Xbox is now rolling out, Microsoft has announced.
This latest update brings with it the library revamp that has been in testing for Xbox Insiders. The My Games and Apps Full Library view has been redesigned to show all of the games players have available to install and play. There’s also the option to filter these titles to show just Xbox Game Pass, EA Play, or Xbox Live Gold titles.
In addition to the redesigned library, players can now select different default installation locations for all games and apps on Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One consoles.
“In the settings for storage devices, select Change installation locations if you have external drives or a storage expansion card attached,” Microsoft explains. “You can select a specific drive as an installation location, or “Let Xbox decide” where to install the content for the fastest drive with available space.”
Finally, owners of the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 can now change the color of Xbox button on the controller via the Xbox Accessories App.
