Xbox Cloud Gaming is coming to consoles
Xbox has announced that its Cloud Gaming initiative is coming to Xbox consoles. Specifically, Xbox One consoles will be able to play Xbox Series titles like Microsoft Flight Simulator and The Medium.
The release window for Cloud Gaming on consoles is holiday 2021. Xbox Insiders will start testing this feature in the fall.
Players who want to try Cloud Gaming on console will need a Game Pass Ultimate subscription. Cloud gaming on console is targeting 1080p at 60 frames per second.
Microsoft previously stated that Xbox players would be able to access their entire game library through Cloud Gaming, though it’s unclear if that is still its goal. So far, Xbox has only stated that “over 100 high-quality games in the Xbox Game Pass library” will be playable on Cloud.
