Wreckfest PlayStation 5 upgrade announced
Following its Xbox Series X/S optimization patch earlier this month, Wreckfest is getting a full PlayStation 5 upgrade on June 1st, THQ Nordic has announced.
In addition to 4K/60 FPS gameplay, the PlayStation 5 version of the game features 24-player lobbies, dynamic dirt, improved shadows, higher-resolution textures, and DualSense controller support. The full list of enhancements can be found below:
- Dynamic dirt on vehicles
- Improved shadows, particles, and environment lighting
- Higher resolution textures
- Increased amount of foliage
- Godrays
- New visual effects for skidmarks
- DualSense haptic effects
- Much faster loading times
Owners of the game on PlayStation 4 can upgrade to the PlayStation 5 version for $9.99.
Wreckfest is available now on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, with a PlayStation 5 version set to launch on June 1st.
