Worms Rumble is getting a new map next week
Team17 is preparing to release a big update for Worms Rumble that includes a new map, new Christmas-themed cosmetics, and more.
The new map is called Deadly Dockyard and transports players to a bustling shipyard packed with shipping containers, cranes, and boats, which will alter the environment as the match progresses. Get a quick look at the upcoming map in the trailer below:
Players can also look forward to a selection of free Christmas cosmetics and two premium outfits that let players dress their worms as a Sea Captain and a Shark. The update is scheduled to go live on December 17th.
Before then, Team17 is opening up The Lab, a selection of rotating time-limited experimental modes that will reward exclusive cosmetics. The first mode is Pistols at Dawn, in which each player will be equipped with a hand cannon that is capable of instantly killing an opponent, but can only have one bullet in the chamber. Pistols at Dawn is live until December 12th.
Worms Rumble is available now on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC. PlayStation owners can currently download the game for free through PlayStation Plus.
