World War Z adding cross-platform play between Xbox One and PC next week

Saber Interactive has confirmed that World War Z’s cross-platform play update will be going live on March 23rd.

At launch, only Xbox One and PC players will be added to the same matchmaking pool. However, the developer added that PlayStation 4 support will be introduced “in the future.”

In addition to cross-platform play, the upcoming update will include new weapon variants and a new mission objective. Finally, the War Heroes premium DLC will be released on March 23rd, which includes four new character skins.

World War Z is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
