World of Warcraft’s anniversary event begins
Blizzard is celebrating 16 years of World of Warcraft with an in-game event.
From now until November 22nd, players can log in to earn a special anniversary achievement and grab a gift package from the mail. This package contains 200 Timewarped Badges, a celebration item that increases experience and reputation gain by 16 percent, and a letter that starts a quest in either Orgrimmar or Stormwind.
Additionally, players can visit Historian Llore and Historian Ju’pa to pick up two daily quests and take on Lord Kazzak, Azuregos, and one of the four Dragons of Nightmare each day to earn some additional Timewarped Badges and classic loot.
There’s also the return of the classic Alterac Valley with Korrack’s Revenge and new vendor items to purchase.
In other news, Blizzard recently confirmed that World of Warcraft’s next expansion, Shadowlands, will be available from November 23rd.
